Franklin Estimator 5.5 has a new Quickbooks module interface.
This will require a complete new setup in order to continue using the module. Please consider the additional time this will take before performing the upgrade. There are complete instructions on how to set up the new module new User Guide which is accessible through the Help dropdown. The details are found under the Company Information > Account Info section of the help file.
1. After you click on the Download button you will see this screen:
2. Click Save and select your Desktop for the destination.
3. Once the download is complete you will see this icon on your desktop; double click it.
3a. You may see this window, click Run.
4. The Destination Folder will be correct for 99.99% of installations, please do not change it unless you are instructed to do so by Franklin Estimating Systems support team.
5. Click Install.
6. Next you will see this window pop-up, Click Yes to All.
The extractor will automatically install all the necessary files to update your Estimator.
Done: You’ve just updated your Estimator. The next time you open it the top bar should read: Franklin Estimator 5.5
